This is the first such extensive publication about Polish graphic design of the 20th century. The publication contains a chronological description of the work of over 60 of the most outstanding and interesting Polish graphic designers. It is divided into three periods in which the artists were most active and in which their most important works were created. The editor considered the turning points to be the end of World War II and the year 1980, which in Poland was marked by the signing of the August Agreements and the birth of Solidarity.
