Creative coding with p5.js for typographic design. Beginner-friendly.
This workshop introduces creative coding as a design tool for graphic composition. Participants will use code to explore typography, layout and visual structure in a generative way.
During the workshop participants will work with p5.js to create generative poster designs by writing simple rules that produce complex visual results. The focus is on experimentation and process rather than technical perfection. We will explore loops, randomness and simple mathematical principles and apply them to typographic composition and layout.
