The world’s first motionbrandingtypography conference.

This workshop focuses on exploring Central European typographic heritage through historical printed materials. Participants will work with letterforms found in books, magazines and packaging from Poland and neighbouring countries, using them as a starting point for contemporary type design.

During the workshop participants will be introduced to the basics of type design, from sketching and analysing letter structures to drawing type digitally in Glyphs. The focus is on working with existing references and transforming them into new digital forms. We will discuss authorship, originality and how to work with local visual identity in a global design context.
