Rule-based systems for experimental typography. Visual sources to lettering.
This workshop focuses on experimental typography and form-making through the creation of a personal visual “recipe.” Participants will develop a unique visual source as a set of rules and apply it to experimental lettering.
During the workshop, participants will move from photographic material to simplified graphic structures, exploring abstraction, interpretation, and visual process. The workshop combines analog and digital methods and emphasizes process over precision. Each participant will develop a personal visual system and apply it to experimental lettering.
